How Often Should I Blog For My Business?

How often should I blog? This is probably
one of the most commonly asked questions among new bloggers. As we work hard to
increase our traffic and find new readers, many of us wonder if there’s a magic
number of times we should be posting each week. So, should we really be posting
five days a week? Can we post less? And does it really even make a difference
how often we’re publishing new content? Today, it’s time to answer this question
once and for all so you can finally stop stressing about it. Hey, everyone! Welcome
back to my channel. I’m Rachel, the founder of Define Your Hustle. Define Your Hustle is all about helping aspiring, creative entrepreneurs build
successful and fulfilling online businesses. And if you’re new here, I’d
love for you to subscribe because I’m uploading new videos every single week
to help you create amazing blog content and grow your online business. Now, I know
you’re wondering how often you should be blogging, so here’s the answer… To put it
simply, there is no magic answer when it comes to how often you should publish
new content on your blog. It’s totally up to you and what you’re capable of
producing. That means if you want to post five days per week, you can absolutely go
for it. However, if three days a week or less is more your jam, then that’s fine
as well. The truth is, it doesn’t matter how often you post. What matters is the
quality of your content. Amazing blog content is what will keep people coming
back time and time again. They want valuable stuff that they can learn from.
They want actionable advice that can then be implemented into their lives.
That’s why quality beats out quantity every single time. The last thing I want
to see any blogger doing is publishing a blog post for the sake of getting up five
posts per week. Don’t subject yourself and your readers to sub-par blog posts
just to say you published something new. Never throw together a rushed post that
isn’t up to your usual standards simply because you don’t want to miss a day on
your posting schedule. Now that you know the importance of quality over quantity,
you need to determine your posting schedule. And it all goes back to one
single question, well in my opinion at least. And that question is, “How many high- quality blog posts can I commit to each week?” For some of you, that answer may be three or it may be one. It doesn’t matter. It all goes back to how much time and
effort you’re able to commit to blogging. So, choose the posting frequency that
works for your schedule. Select the day or days you want to publish content each
week and then stick to it. It’s as simple as that, my friends. And my final piece of
advice on this is that blogging should never feel like a chore. If you’re
starting to get overwhelmed by your posting schedule, take a step back if you
really need to. Take a break. Don’t feel guilty if you miss a day or two. Your
audience will still be there ready for whatever you have next when you return
with a new blog post. How often do you post on your blog? I’d love to know, so
leave a comment down below with your answer. As for me, I try to stick to three
new pieces of content each week. Sometimes it happens, sometimes it
doesn’t! That’s just how it goes. Alright guys, that’s a wrap on today’s video.
Thank you so much for watching. Be sure to give it a thumbs up if you enjoyed
the tips and don’t forget to subscribe. I’m uploading new videos every week
where I talk about blogging and building an online business.

  1. I'm experimenting. If I publish 2 posts within less than 24 hours, I can't justify promoting each 3 times on Twitter. After a lapse of about 3 days, my overall traffic decreases.
